Chương trình vận động “Triệu Bữa Ăn Gửi Miền Trung Thân Yêu – Save a Lunchbox for Central Vietnam” chính thức được khởi động tại Mỹ từ ngày 19/10/2013 đến 25/10/2013.
Những ngày qua, chúng ta vô cùng xót xa chứng kiến cảnh quê hương miền Trung đang oằn mình hứng chịu liên tiếp hai cơn bão số 10 và số 11 (Nari) khủng khiếp nhất trong 10 năm trở lại đây.

[English version of the appeal for donations]
ATTENTION: This is an URGENT APPEAL FOR DONATIONS within ONE WEEK from October 19th, 2013 to October 25th, 2013 in rush to help them as soon as possible.
When the powerful typhoon Nari and the flood afterwards hit Central Vietnam, they caused widespread damages and the immense pain of loss for people living there. Poor families have had their properties crushed into pieces, drowned beneath silted waters of the flood. Even though the typhoon has gone, there are still many people who have to crowd into emergency shelters for their houses were ruined. Only weeks ago, they were yet to be homeless.
The situation is not much brighter for other people affected. Electricity and water have been cut in the worst affected areas. Some families have lost their food stores, cooking utensils, plus gas is too dangerous to use; thus there is no way to cook food.
This is also the 11th tropical typhoon to slam into Vietnam so far this year; most of them struck the Central region. Thuough Central Vietnamese would never give up and keep working hard to rebuild from the damage, the nature keeps ignoring their seemingly hopeless countless effort.
